Tunisian Crochet
Tunisian Crochet
Curious about that crochet technique that looks a little like knitting? Tunisian crochet combines elements of both crochet and knitting to create a beautifully textured fabric using a long Tunisian crochet hook.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of working a Tunisian crochet row, including the forward and return passes, how to hold and work with a Tunisian hook, and a few foundational stitches. We’ll also cover the quirks that make Tunisian crochet different from traditional crochet and give you plenty of time to practice.
By the end of class, you’ll have the skills you need to keep experimenting with Tunisian crochet and start exploring projects like scarves, cowls, bags, blankets, and more.
Students should already be comfortable with basic crochet stitches. No previous Tunisian crochet experience is needed.
