Angie Pihera

Hello! I’m Angie Pihera. I am a life-long sewist and crafter. Creating is a passion that started at home while watching and learning from my mother in her sewing room.

I have spent my sewing life learning a wide range of techniques, including bag making, quilting, and garment sewing. My teaching philosophy is rooted in learning the “rules” and how and when they can be broken.

Whether you’re learning the basics or refining a complex technique, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive community where students can explore their creativity, learn new skills, and experience the satisfaction of being able to say: “Thanks! I made it!”

Sohini Whatley

Sohini Whatley has been passionate about arts and crafts for as long as she can remember. She was introduced to sewing, embroidery, and crochet at a young age by her mother, who inspired a lifelong love of creating by hand.

Over the years, Sohini has expanded her skills and shared her knowledge by teaching others how to sew, crochet, and embroider. She enjoys helping students discover the joy and confidence that come from making something beautiful with their own hands.

Known for her love of unique color combinations and creative design, Sohini draws inspiration from her Indian heritage and has a special passion for working with vibrant Indian fabrics. Her classes combine traditional techniques, creativity, and encouragement, creating a welcoming environment for makers of all skill levels.

Amy Tozer

An avid knitter for over 40 years, Amy Tozer has taught students of all ages from kindergartners to teens to adults. Her classes range from learn-to-knit to advanced beginner techniques like mosaic, cables, and lace knitting.

Amy believes strongly in the power of knitting as a creative expression and a way to create community. When she’s not knitting, Amy helps people buy, sell, and invest in real estate in intown Atlanta.

Leila Ibrahim

Leila is a Georgia native who started her fiber arts journey as a child with her grandmother. During school holidays, she was taught to sew, knit and stitch a variety of projects and materials including her first homecoming dress! Over the years, her art has grown to include fused and stained glass, ceramics, needlepoint and embroidery. Her love of bright, vivid colors shows up in her pieces no matter the art form. She is passionate about creating art in settings that build community and how making things with our hands can be relaxing and meditative. She is also an arts administrator having earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Arts Administration and worked many years in live events and technology in theater, concert halls, arenas, zoos and many other spaces.

Meghan McHale

Meghan McHale is a pediatric nurse practitioner by day and a fiber arts enthusiast every chance she gets. She loves exploring new creative techniques and believes anyone can learn to make beautiful things with a little guidance and encouragement. When she's not teaching nursing students or volunteering, you'll find her embroidering, designing new projects for Henley Grace & Co., or convincing herself she definitely has room for one more craft supply.
