Cable Knitting

Do you love the look of cabled sweaters, but think it looks complicated?

Fear not, it's easier than you think!

This three-session class, suitable for advanced beginners, will teach you the basics of cable knitting. Students will create the 246 Cowl by Amy Tozer, a cabled cowl that uses stitch and row combinations in twos, fours, and sixes, but uses only one skein of worsted weight yarn.

Students Learn:

• cable knitting with a cable needle
• reading charts
• fixing mistakes
• altering the pattern to make a larger cowl.

Cost: $95 + yarn ($12-$35)
Students receive a 10% Discount for supplies

• 1 skein of worsted weight yarn or DK weight yarn with at least 175 yards, preferably 200 yards
• Size US 7 24” circular knitting needle
• Cable needle
• 9 removable stitch markers
• Darning needle
