Sewing 101 - Fabric Bookmarks

Description: Come make a fast and easy sewn corner bookmark. These are a great
project for using up scraps, making teacher gifts, and just adding some me-made flair to your library. Leave class with at least one finished bookmark and the knowledge of how
to make more whenever you want.

Skills Required: This will be easiest if you can already sew a straight line on a sewing
machine. That said, a good attitude is all that is required- we can figure out the rest!
Materials: All materials needed will be provided, but if you would like to use your own
fabric, please bring three 4.5’’ squares of fabric, two for front and back and one for the
contrast piece.
