During school holidays, she was taught to sew, knit and stitch a variety of projects and materials including her first homecoming dress! Over the years, her art has grown to include fused and stained glass, ceramics, needlepoint and embroidery. Her love of bright, vivid colors shows up in her pieces no matter the art form. She is passionate about creating art in settings that build community and how making things with our hands can be relaxing and meditative.
